Career Planning - What do I want to be when I grow up? How can I best prepare myself for that type of career?
Mock Interviews - Practice interview with a career counselor. Learn how to answer some of those "tough" questions that interviewers like to ask.
Company Visits - Now that you've secured an on-site interview, what do you do next? What are the differences between on-campus recruiting and on-site interviews?
Offers Negotiation - I have multiple offers from several great companies. How can I evaluate on offer against another, and how much of a salary should I ask for?
Summer Internships - The best way to prepare you for the job market is to get "real world" work experience.
Career Changes - Sometimes we work in a field and decide that it wasn't what we expected it to be. We can help you make a successful transition into another field.
Interviewing - Do you know how to dress for an interview? How would you respond to the comment, "Tell me about yourself"? We can help you with questions on interviewing strategies.
Job Search - How do I write a resume? How do I interview effectively? How do I research a company? How do I find a job in...? These types of questions can be answered if you visit a career counselor.
Resumes - Resumes are a snapshot of you on paper. How can you best market yourself to a potential employer? What makes an effective resume? If you have a resume finished, stop by and have a career counselor critique it.
Cover Letters - Cover letters can sometimes tell an employer more than a resume. You spent a great deal of time on your resume, so make sure the cover letter promotes interest in an employer to read your resume.
Alumni Contact - If you want exposure to a field, want someone to talk to who is a Caltech alum working in your chosen field, we can help you.
