Caltech alumni in medicine (MDs and MD/PhDs) from all over the country, current medical school students, clinical practitioners, medical school faculty, clinical researchers, current Caltech premed students, and medical school scholars will be invited to this special event.
Alumni will reconnect with each other, and our current premed students will meet their future mentors and colleagues.
This reunion, hosted by the Alumni Association, will be a fantastic gathering of scholars who share an interest in medicine!

APSA is a national student organization dedicated to serving physician-scientists in training and is particularly focused on providing resources and opportunities for networking and career development. One primary goal of the organization is to provide vertical mentoring for pre-medical students interested in research who enjoy research and may be considering having a research component to their career.
The 2007 West Coast Conference will feature keynote presentations by Dr James Economou, MD PhD from UCLA and Dr Allen Yang, MD PhD from USC, as well as breakout sessions on applying to MD/PhD programs and career options in academia and industry. It will also feature an MD/PhD Program Representatives panel and an MD/PhD Students panel to provide pre-medical students with an opportunity to get an insider's look at the MD/PhD process and ask questions.
